MEET KAT

Hi, I’m Kat Correro (she/they)—the heart and hands behind Kataclysmic Kreations. I’m a lifelong feeler, dreamer, and maker of things: poetry, paintings, stories, and meaning.

 

I grew up all over as part of a military family, but Louisiana has been home since I was eleven. Somewhere along the way, I picked up a suitcase full of metaphors and a deep love for turning emotion into art.

 

By day, I’m an elementary school teacher. By night, I create—painting with color, with words, with grief and wonder. My work blends energy, emotion, and whimsy, whether it’s a swirling acrylic sky or a poem that hits just right.

 

I’m also a counseling grad student at LSU Shreveport, passionate about healing and connection—especially the quiet, meaningful kind that happens in shared laughter, honest conversation, or a piece of art that makes you feel seen.
