Welcome to Kataclysmic Kreations
A Visual Exploration of the Emotional Spectrum
An emotional and visual journey through color, texture, and story—where celestial dreams collide with everyday chaos. My work weaves together cosmic awe, nature’s rhythms, and personal truths to reflect the raw, radiant complexity of being human.
I’m deeply honored to have my work included in Beyond Queer Words 9th Edition. 💜
The poem, Just Me (pages 6-8), is very personal—it explores my non-binary experience. On the outside, I may pass as “woman,” but inside I’m just human. Just Kat. Just me.

As always, I'm grateful for your support!

I’m excited to share that my painting Lucy is featured in Beyond Words Magazine, Issue 59 (Summer 2025)!
You can find it on page 12 of the printed edition.
Lucy is one of my most personal pieces—an exploration of movement, memory, and the quiet strength in vulnerability. I’m deeply honored to have it featured alongside such incredible creative voices.

Coming Soon: Colliding Forces
A poetry collection by Kat Correro
I’ve been quietly piecing together poems I’ve written over the past 15+ years—about longing, love, grief, growth, and the messiness of being human.
This collection, Colliding Forces, is personal. Vulnerable. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt too much or not enough.
I’m proud (and a little nervous) to share it with you soon.

When You Told Me: A Mantra
When you told me
I couldn’t,
I tried anyway,
When you said
I wouldn’t,
I did.
When you told me
to follow my dreams,
not for you
but for me,
I chased them all
and made them mine.
When you told me
I wasn’t enough,
I wrote anyway.
When you told me
I’d never make it,
I made everything.
